About Dr. Hawthorne

I am proud to serve your entire family as a primary care provider in this valley!

I believe that as an integrative physician, it is my responsibility to educate each patient on the full spectrum of diagnostic and treatment options.  I am passionate about the influence of diet and lifestyle on health and aim to utilize evidence-based medicine with the goal of helping each patient reach their full potential of health. 

I received my undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology with a minor in Music from the University of California, Berkeley.  I spent five years working as a researcher for a company focused on developing a screen for early lung cancer. I then earned a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University while conducting research on natural products for the adjunctive treatment of prostate cancer. I began my career with a residency in family medicine at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, WA.

After completing my residency in 2018, I worked at West Seattle Natural Medicine and then in 2020, I accepted a position as a provider at NEW Health, a community health organization serving rural communities in Northeast Washington. In 2023, I realized my dream of living in the Wenatchee Valley and joined Leavenworth Integrative Medicine.

I live with my family in Cashmere and I am passionate about staying active and spending as much time as possible with my family in the outdoors. My hobbies include whitewater kayaking, paragliding and skiing, and I also play the violin in the Wenatchee Symphony.
